This product actually emerged from my personal problems. I almost never use cash and always struggle in cafe/restaurants with that. I could never leave a tip, even if I really liked the service, because I barely had cash with myself. I decided to do a little "problem validation" to identify if this is a common "problem" within customers.
After conducting several interviews, collecting quantitive data from survey, researching the global market I was convinced that there is "light" in this and I can not only solve this problem for customers, but also create new opportunities for businesses.
As "tipping culture" is quite new in our market and only seen in HORECA industry, I decided to focus on them first and build a cashless tipping product with a minimum functionality.
All we do is simple: we are a startup allowing businesses and individuals to accept cashless tips with cards from their customers
I was an idea owner, also the product owner who researched, build and launched the product with the cross-functional team of 5 engineers, UX/UI designers, and sales managers.
It was the second startup product that we launched within the PASHA Bank.
